Stepping Up
Merely two years after appearing on “Project Runway Threads,” Lucas was filled with gratitude that he was once again selected to appear on the “Project Runway” franchise, this time on Season 2 of “Project Runway: Junior” While still only 14 years old, Lucas felt that he had grown quite a bit as a designer in those passing two years.
Opportunity to Grow
Lucas was beyond excited to travel to New York City and work with mentor Tim Gunn, judges Kelly Osbourne, Christian Siriano and Aya Kanai as well as host Hannah Jeter. The environment was quite inspiring as Lucas got to bond with a group of extremely talented young designers that included: A’Kai, Allie, Cartier, Chelsea, Christopher, Hawwaa, Izzy, Molly, Rene, Ruby and Tieler.
While the experience did not last as long as he had hoped, every moment there was an opportunity to refine his skills and cultivate friendships and memories that will stay with him forever to help him on his career journey.
