Orlando Fashion Week

Lucas was afforded another incredible opportunity when Rob, Jess and Starr from Fierce Entertainment selected him to be a featured designer and invited him to show his first collection at Orlando International Fashion Week in April 2017.

Drawing his inspiration from the spring season and the concept of a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly, his collection included eight pieces. Each piece played a role to tell that tale to the audience at the sold out show. Lucas’ collection demonstrated that he isn’t afraid to draw on his own life experience, even things that are very personal, when seeking inspiration for his work. His ever-improving design and construction skills were unveiled as the amazing group of models strutted their stuff to Wings by Little Mix and set the stage on fire.

He will always remember and be indebted to the models at his first show : Angel, Anjeli, Derrick, Jonathan, Kade, Thandiwee, Tori and Weendy. Though it went by far too quickly, it was an amazing first experience. Lucas is so grateful for the support shown by both his friends and his family, and he is eagerly anticipating his next runway show. – Discover Your Beauty Summer 2017.
